AI-Powered Autonomous Agents for Industrial Process Automation: A Comparative Study

Abstract
Industry 4.0 is revolutionizing industrial ecosystems through the adoption of AI and automation technologies. This study explores the application of AI-powered autonomous agents in optimizing industrial processes such as predictive maintenance, quality control, and supply chain management. We evaluate the performance of different agent-based architectures using real-time industrial datasets and compare them with conventional automation systems. The findings reveal that AI agents improve decision-making accuracy, reduce downtime, and enhance overall productivity.
