Blockchain for Secure and Transparent Healthcare Data Management
Main Article Content
Abstract
The healthcare industry faces significant challenges in ensuring secure and interoperable data management. This paper investigates the potential of blockchain technology to enhance security, privacy, and transparency in healthcare data systems. We propose a decentralized healthcare data framework that leverages smart contracts and cryptographic techniques to enable secure patient data sharing while ensuring regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR). The study evaluates the performance of blockchain-based solutions through experimental implementation and discusses scalability concerns, interoperability challenges, and future research directions in blockchain-enabled healthcare systems.
