Abstract

Emerging technologies, such as AI, biotechnology, and nanotechnology, hold immense potential but also raise significant ethical concerns. This paper examines how cross-disciplinary approaches can address the ethical, legal, and social implications of these technologies. By integrating insights from philosophy, law, engineering, and social sciences, we propose a framework for responsible innovation that balances technological advancement with ethical considerations. Case studies from Australia illustrate the challenges of regulating emerging technologies and the importance of stakeholder engagement.
