Digital Health Innovations: Bridging Technology and Patient-Centered Care
Abstract
Digital health technologies, such as telemedicine, wearable devices, and mobile health apps, are transforming healthcare delivery. This paper examines how these innovations can be designed and implemented to prioritize patient-centered care. By combining insights from health informatics, human-computer interaction, and clinical practice, we explore the potential of digital health to improve access, engagement, and outcomes. Case studies from Australian healthcare providers illustrate the challenges of integrating technology into existing systems. The paper concludes with recommendations for fostering interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure digital health innovations are both effective and inclusive.
