Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the need for robust global health security frameworks. This paper proposes a cross-disciplinary approach to pandemic preparedness, integrating insights from epidemiology, public policy, logistics, and behavioral science. Using Australia’s response to the pandemic as a case study, we analyze the effectiveness of strategies such as vaccine distribution, public communication, and border control. The paper emphasizes the importance of international collaboration and interdisciplinary research to build resilient health systems capable of responding to future pandemics.
